You'll find three types of columns in Clay: simple columns, special columns and actions.

• Simple columns. Simple columns allow you to add various data types into Clay, from text to single/multi-select, numbers to dates, URLs to image URLs, and even checkboxes. You can always change a data type by using the column drop down menu.

• Special columns. There are three types of special columns available to help you navigate your data within Clay.

• Actions. Actions are API integrations or custom Clay scrapers that you can easily add into any table, apply to your data as a column and extract data from as a whole new column.
