Alpha Forge is Clay's first GTM Engineering career prep program. In 4 weeks, participants go from technical professional to job-ready GTM Engineers trained on real use cases, modern GTM tools like Claude Code, and certified in Clay. They’ll learn how to ace their interviews and land a GTM Engineering role.
We’re looking for ambitious candidates with experience in technical Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Business Technology, Solutions Engineering, and similar systems roles who are hungry to learn and break into GTM Engineering. You should have a basic foundation knowledge in Clay.
Alpha Forge offers a world-class training program for how to become a GTM Engineer. Come learn the playbook from the team that invented it. We’ll teach you tools outside of Clay, including Claude Code, so that you’ll be forged into a well-rounded GTM Engineer.
We recognize that this is a sprint. This is not a marathon. You are going to be doing something that pushes you beyond your limits for four weeks because you want to build the brain and the muscle capacity to be able to do GTM Engineering in the long term. It's going to be painful but it's going to feel so much better in the long term because you did it.
Week 1: Foundations - Participants begin by building the mental model of a GTM Engineer — what the role is, why it matters, and how to think like one. This week establishes the technical literacy every great GTME needs: pseudocode, APIs, JSON, webhooks, and how to read documentation like a builder, not a reader.
Week 2: Core Clay Workflows - With foundations in place, participants dive into the workflows that power modern revenue teams. This week covers data sourcing, CRM enrichment, TAM building, and AI-powered research using Claygent.
Week 3: Advanced Use Cases - This week introduces signals and intent data, account research and scoring, inbound lead enrichment, and automated outbound.
**Week 4: Interview Prep -**The final week is about proving readiness. Participants complete a capstone project solving a real GTM problem, and practice mock interviews with a partner simulate the real thing. Graduates walk away Clay-certified.
